Suggestions:
It'd be good to have some transparent skins too. I was looking for a skin for Nintendo DS and there were lots with white parts. I was wondering if that was clear but I read in the forum that all the skins are opaque.

Comments:
The reason I needed a skin for the Nintendo DS was because it's a alternative to an engraving idea I had but can't do. But when finding out the white parts on the skins are opaque and not clear I had to think of yet another alternative using an Invisible Shield which are clear. Hopefully it will fit over the iStyles Skin. The Nintendo DS plus iStyles skin is a gift for someone so I'm testing out the idea on my iPod Classic first. If it works out I'll be back to buy a Nintendo DS skin. If it doesn't work well at least my iPod Classic will be prettier than it is now when it's in an iStyles skin. ^^

The Skins are indeed opaque but they're thin and can work with a variety of other cases, such as crystal cases. I believe that the Skin should work fine with the Invisible Shield, but I have not quite figured out which to apply first.

If the Skin is applied first, followed by the Invisible shield, the overall finishing should be nicer but there may be slight problems with the fitting of the Invisible Shield depending on how forgiving it is. The Skins are very thin at about 6-8 mils thick (10 mils = 1mm) but this slight 'thickness' may mess up the alignment on the Invisible Shield.

If the Invisible Shield is applied first, the Skin should fit fine on top as the Invisible Shield is even thinner, but I think that the presentation will probably look nicer with the Skin applied first (if it fits). It's up to you to test.
