Question about iPhone...

Hi There,

I had a question about the iPhone screen protectors and Skins available:

1) I notice (initially from a Google search -
(iStyles Launches Apple iPhone Protectors, Privacy Protectors and Overlays | iPoding | What's that in your pocket?)
) that you had multiple products on offer (3); but when I was on your online store, I notice only the 'basic' screen protector offered (only covers the screen).(iPhone Silicon Screen Protector)
Are they any plans to reintroduce the other two, as I'm looking to pick up something that will protect the entire surface of the phone.

2) How thick are the skins (pure black/white).. I remember somewhere reading that it's 5-6mm (pretty thick), is this true as I have 2 VAJA cases already on order and am concerned that the thickness might interfere with the operation of the case.

Hi, we only offer the Silicon Screen iPhone protector at the moment because the Overlays have been pulled off temporarily pending a thorough check on the current batch because of reports of incompatibility. The privacy protectors are sold out for now due to overwhelming demand and will only be restocked later on.

The iPhone skins + a silicon screen protector will protect your iPhone nicely. The skins are 5-6 mil thick, which is very thin. 10 mils is approximately 1mm. The Skins can generally be used underneath other cases, depending on how tightly that case fits. For example, some customers use the skins underneath a clear plastic case for a more complete protection and to showcase the design of the skin.

Hehe, thought my memory was failing me...5-6mm vs 5-6mils is a HUGE difference, I spent a couple of minutes thinking how thick the skin would be.

Two more questions:

For the Skins, (Solid White/Black), do they interfere in anyway with the call sensor in the iPhone? I'm thinking since it's a solid piece of Vinyl stuck on top of the proximity sensor/ambient light sensor, potentially there may be a problem? Or are the cut-outs sufficient for the normal operation of these?

Do you roughly know how long they take to come in from the States? I know the silicon screen protector are shipped from Singapore (where I am), but for the skin from the States, that's usually at least 5 Business Days, right?

The delivery time for UPS Express shipments from the USA will take about 1 to 3 business days, but it's going to be pretty costly. If you do not mind waiting a little longer, USPS Priority Mail should take about 3 to 5 business days. Do note that these are estimates given by the postal system and the actual delivery time may meet those figures, or they may be a little longer.

I took the liberty of having a look at your cart to see what products you're interested in. The iPhone skins will be available for shipment from Singapore in Nov. If time is not an issue whatsoever, just wait till then and you can opt for the local shipping options.
